Jacques Hardelay was elected president of the Marseille-Provence Cruise Club (or Marseille-Provence croisière) on 17th June. This organisation brings together local authorities, shipowners, tourism professionals, and port stakeholders to support the development of the cruise industry.
Hardelay, who is the honorary president of Chantier Naval de Marseille and former head of Chantiers de l’Atlantique, replaces Jean-François Suhas. Suhas had been president for a decade and had previously announced his intention to step down.
